The man and wife had a domestic dispute, said Chad Bowles, Nephi City Police Chief. The man then locked himself inside his apartment located on the southwest end of Nephi. "He was belligerent and made some threats, said Bowles. No firearms were involved, he said. However, the man refused to leave the apartment for some time. "It eventually came down to the bare fact that he would have to come out or we would come in and get him," said Bowles. After an hour of discussion between police officers and the man, the man came out on his own. He was arrested, said Bowles, at the scene. "His wife pressed charges of spouse abuse, said Bowles.
