The Salt Creek road is one of several roads in the Nebo area that have been closed. Others are the Nebo Loop road above Maple Dell, the Santaquin Canyon road above the forest boundary, and the Maple Canyon road above the campgrounds. In a recent town board meeting, Mayor Everd Squire reviewed improvements which the town has now completed on the Mona water system. Squire said some $4,600 in material and labor has been expended from the towns budget for improvements on the line and in upgrading the system, which in turn has increased the water flow of the improvement cost was $2,300. Robbery suspects picked up in Nephi Please turn to page 3 Two Spanish Fork men were injured in this Wednesday morning TNPhoto rollover south of Levan. Wednesday wreck hurts Spanish Forkers A Spanish Fork man, Brent Kidman, 29, was seriously injured Wednesday when he was thrown from his pickup 10 miles south of Levan on State Road 28. Kidman was a passenger in a truck driven by Gary B. Bartholomew, 25, also of Spanish Fork. The truck was southbound when Bartholomew apparently tried to pick something up off the floor of the truck. The truck drifted off the side of the road, and rolled 3 Vi times down an embankment. Kidman was thrown from the truck about 75 feet, and sustained pelvic injuries. Bartholomew re mained in the vehicle. Both men were taken to the Juab County Hospital by the East Juab Ambulance. Kidman was later transferred to Mountain View Hospital in Payson, where he is listed in serious condition. Bartholomew was treated for minor injuries at the Juab County Hospital, and was released. The truck, a 1980 Toyota was totaled, according to pickup, Trooper Gary Taylor of the Utah Highway Patrol, who investigated the accident. He was assisted by Juab County Deputy Sheriff Chad Bowles. County offices are being moved to the new county center in the renovated Juab High School building. Commissioner Claude R. Lomax says the offices will reopen in the new county center the following Monday, Dec. 14. The recorders, treasurers, assessors, and clerk's offices wii1 be moved. Already in the building are the public health nurse, the Utah Division of Social Services, Job Service, and the county agent.
