Show Juab kindergartens will present 'The Nutcracker' Children from the Ne-pElementary Schools kindergarten will present their annual interpretation of "The Nutcracker" Wednesday, Dec. 10. The musical will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the new high school auditorium, says Karen Wright, one of the three kindergarten teachers at the school. Each child in the kindergarten classes has a singing, dancing, or speaking part. Fritz will be played by Brian Clara is played by Kasa Kelson. The council was informed that the citys volunteer fire department salaries are not in line with those of other cities, and that the volunteers have not received a pay increase since 1976. It was recommended that the firemen be paid $3.50 per drill attended, instead of the $2 they now receive, and that the salary for actual working time go from the $2.30 currently received to $4.50 per hour. It was also recommended that the chiefs salary be changed from $27.50 to $50 per month, and that the assistant fire chief and the secretary, who have not previously been paid for their extra work, receive $25 per month each. Before a formal proposal is made, the budget will be further considered.
