Show Camp Birch DUP Janice ami Rodney Shepherd are home for the Christmas holidays, visiting with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delwin hasiL6V3I1 SOCIdl I16WS Christmas dinner Members of the Birch Camp ot the daughters of the Utah Pioneers had their annual Christmas party and dinner Friday afternoon. The dinner was held at Cafe, and was under the direction of Desma Stowell, captain of the group. Members of the club heard and Christmas readings thoughts and listened to a group present Christmas songs. They also sang Christmas songs and exchanged gifts. Those present were Zelda Hill, Nona Smith, Maude Ingram, Lorene Kirgan, Alberta Jones, Norma Bailey, Effie Scott, Rheta Sperry, Tola Stephenson, Erma Garrett, Verlie Tolley, Lola Morgan, Jessie Worthington, Desma Stowell, Erva Howard, Elaine Garrett, Mildred Lunt, Olive Boswell, Margaret Ellertson, Nelda Haney and Fern Garrett. Mic-kelso- Maude Robertson hosted members of the Salt Creek Camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers at their annual Christmas party, held December 17. A turkey dinner was served, and members of the group heard a special Christmas The Nephi Lions Club went on record as opposing any additional gasoline tax at their December 13 meeting, held at Rays Cafe. Club members drafted a resolution to be sent to Congress protesting any additional gasoline tax and also any further increase in gasoline prices. Members of the Lions Club also heard Sheriff Mack Holley of Utah County talk on police problems. Sheriff Holley suggested that it is every citizens duty to get involved in law and order. The American Legion Auxiliary Post held their annual Christmas party Wednesday night at the home of Marion Memmott.
