Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Donald R. Peterson and son Roger of Tooele: Judge and Mrs. J. H. Burns. Cedar City; Michael and Debbv Park of Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Billanzitch, Granger; Robin Bradley, Shelly Morgan, and Shirley Morgan, Granger; and Mrs. Elizabeth Scat and children Cindy and Robert of Tooele. An Elsinore man will become a centenarian on Thursday, May 3, and the day will be quitely observed by his wife and other members of the family. Garrett were in Salt Lake City Sunday to attend a court of honor where their grandson, Dennis Barney, received his Eagle Scout badge. Dennis, 14, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Barney. He had no formal schooling, but learned to read and knew arithmetic enough to figure with the best. Mr. Ferrin has never, according to family members, been a smoker or drinker, and they attribute his longevity to this fact. His eyesight and hearing have been failing in recent years, and his legs have quit according to family members. His mind, however, is very clear, a remarkable thing in view of 100 years of life.
