Cox, church Ephraim worker and retired insurance executive, has been appointed director of the Snow College Development Fund, Dr. Floyd Holm, college president, has announced. The principal purpose of the fund will be to raise money from private sources for the financing of scholarships, library acquisition, cultural activities and other programs not funded by state appropriations, Holm said. This will be mainly an alumni effort, Mr. Cox said, and we first are attempting to locate all former Snow College students so that we can keep them informed of developments at he college and maintain files of their present addresses, occupations and accomplishments. We will appreciate information concerning the present addresses of alumni. A graduate of Snow College and the University of Colorado, Cox has been engaged in the insurance industry most of his life, retiring as president of the Arrow Mutual Insurance Co., to become president of the California Central Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints. Since his release as mission president about a year ago, Mr. and Mrs Cox have been making their home in Manti. He recently was appointed president of the Sanpete South Stake.
