Cream butter or margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beat in well after each. Combine corn syrup, orange juice and sherry; add alternately with remaining flour to creamed mixture. Fold in fruits and nuts. Pour batter into baking pans of desired shapes. For 2 cup ring molds, bake 75 to 85 minutes at 275 degrees. For 2 x 8 x 2 inch pans bake 60 or 70 minutes at 275 degrees. , 1-- (34 cups se . Page Seven Mrs. John E. Robertson was hostess to the members of the Ladles Literary Club at their ! annual Christmas party,, on Wednesday, December- 13. The home was beautifully decorated for the holiday season and Christmas music was enjoyed. A traditional turkey dinner was prepared and served by the committee members: Mrs. John E. Robertson, Mrs. Jack Wright, Mrs. Wilford Bailey, Mrs. James H. Eagar and Miss Mabel Sperry. Christmas gifts were - exchanged and a Christmas story was given by Mrs.. Eagar and enjoyed by those present Mrs. A. V. Gadd, dub president made assignments for gifts to be taken to the Colonial Manor for the annual Christmas party being sponsored by the Federated Clubs of Nephi. Members present in addition to the president and committee as listed above were Mrs. W. W. Stephenson, Mrs. Ralph B. Belliston, Mrs. Frank Green-halgMrs. Leo Christensen, Mrs. J. L.
