Show Johnny Miller went to Farmin-to- n to be with his folks until school started Tuesday. Boyd and Marge Nelson and their children Mike and Sherry visited the Bob Nelsons for a couple of days last week. They make their home in Gallup. Eva Labrum's sister Linda McDaniel and niece Patty Joust were guests in the Lab-ru- m home over the weekend. The next Movie Night spon-ser- ed by the Montezuma Creek Community Club is scheduled for April 28. Saturday night was the last of the basketball tournament held at the Aneth Boarding School gymnasium. The first place winners were Blanding. Ft. Lewis placed second. The Bob Renfrow family of Phillips Camp travelled to Tehachapi, Cal. , for a vacation with Bob's folks. The Bob Towles are the proud owners of a new car and their next door neighbors, the Bill McBrooms, are enjoying their pretty new camper. Leo and Wannie Carr have returned home after a week's vacation in Southeastern New Mexico and West Texas. Bradford moved the long jump record from 20 feet to 21 feet 3 inches, while ' Black lowered the 880 yard run record of 2:11 to 2:05.2. Bradford also took a second place in the 220 yard dash. The 880 yard relay team composed of Dennis Bradford, Monty Lee, Mike Redd and Le Grand Black ran the distance in 1:39, which broke the old record of 1:12. Although they broke the old record this group just placed fourth in the San Juan High School took a total of seven men to the Mesa Invitational Track Meet in Grand Junction, Colo, last Saturday. San Juan scored a total of 19 points in the meet, which was good for fourth place. There were a total of 29 Class B schools from Utah and Colorado represented in the meet.
