Show rights at Lisbon to BYU Title to a section (640 acres) of Lisbon anticline land in oil-riin San Juan County was turned over to Brigham Young University today. The gift to the university was made by Lewis H. Larsen, mining and refining executive and Republican candidate for governor of Utah, and Arthur M. and Harold E. Jensen, brothers, of Jensen Construction Co. of Salt Lake City. It was received for BYU by President Ernest L. Wilkinson. The section (1 square mile) is near the important oil finds struck recently by Pure Oil Company. Larsen also proposed establishment of a chair of petroleum engineering at BYU in the name of Henry D. Moyle, second counselor in the First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints and prominent ch oil industry attorney. He said, I should like to see this chair sponsored by all of the oil people of our state through the cooperation of the Petroleum Institute of America, the Rocky Mountain Oil and Gas Association, and all the individuals and corporations that are interested. Assured by President Wilkinson that such a chair would be welcomed, Larsen said, I should like to help in forming a committee for the purpose of establishing this chair and obtaining the finances necessary for such a worthy cause. Larsen, who is known as the because of his cowboy artist extensive painting of western scenes, is director and of Minerals Refining Company in Salt Lake City and executive vice Mining president of Caribou Company with uranium operations in Wyoming and Utah, oil in Wyoming and Colorado and mica in South Dakota. He is former Kane County attorney, Kanab City attorney and state senator. Arthur M. Jensen is LDS mission president in Uruguay, and Harold E. Jensen is bishop of Edgehill LDS Ward. They donated half the property w'ith Larsen.
