Death came as the result of a stroke suffered a week ago. at his home here. His condition was slightly improved after the amputation of his right leg for the removal of a blood clot, but other complications set in and he went into a coma Tuesday night and passed away some 24 hours later. He was born at Parowan, May 26, 1903 a son of Edward A. and Ada Orton Burton. He has speht his entire life here having engaged in farming and livestock raising in his early years. lie married Alberta Worthen at Panguitch May 26, 1926. They were later married in the St George LDS Temple. After giving up farming he has engaged in the garage business for the past several years. lie fjrst was employed by Utah Oil Company and later he operated the Parowan Conoco Service station here.
