The V. C. Mendenhall Co who have a stockpile on the Buckhorn flat had offered to sell to the city, but after investigating it was found that the cost of moving the gravel would make the cost pro hibitive. It was agreed, however, that a seal coat would be applied to the streets that are already oiled to prevent a winter break-up- . Since no bids were received for replacing the steps in front of the public library, the coun oil decided to see if a local contractor could be interested in doing the job. The question of the resonsi-bilit- v of caring for the - V head-wor- of the hydro-electri- ks c system was discussed ard the responsibility for making an assignment for the care and maintanence of this part of the system was given to the c committee.. The Red Hill Wranglers reported to mayor W. 6cott Mitchell that they would be unable to construct a new section on the grandstand be. fore the County Fair, but ask ed for the privilege of having timber sawed now so that the addition could be made later this fall. IThe council appropriated $50.00 as its share of the Iron hydro-electri- Coach County appropriation to the Highway 91 Association, and also agreed to finance the cost of a float for the Utah Mother of the Year as part of the parade for the last day of the County Fair. The streets and sidewalks committee was given the for the removal of several large trees on main street.
