Colorado university, Colorado . Aggies and Colorado rolli-seThe championship aeries was a successful financial venture, the final serious worry tuna removing that from the minds of those who conducted, tha contests. BETTER TEAM WINS. Both Titters and Bobcats acquitted themselves in heroic manner, and it can be said without fear of contradiction that the better team won. The Bobcats were too bis and too strong for the Tiffers. as had been predicted. There was something, uncanny and perhaps mysterious about the ' spurts. Because their brilliant rallies featured their offense durinR the three games, perhaps it was endurance which gave them the extra energy to Whip the Tigers by sensational flashes of speed and basket hooting. Whatever It W'as, there Is BO questioning Its efficiency. The series proved several thlnics: First, that western division basketball la equally as fast as eastern division basketball, and, for the 1927 season, a bit faster; second, tt proved to Coloderado fans that the fense is equally as effective as the n defense and that it induces faster play. There was considerable doubt expressed in many quarters over both these points, but the Mohcats furnished the needed proof In both instances. Third, It proved beyond dispute that the great basketball team must have big and rangy guards and five men able to shoot. Ulynn and Breeden are a pair of the finest guards aver to play In Colorado, Every member of the Bobcats' team was a potential scorer when he had the. ball.
