Evelyn Behling also helped Four other members attended camp with their cooking club. Next was to plan our 24th of clubs of July float. All Ferron helped with it. We decided on a large clover made of white napkins, with the four H's done in green The names of the five clubs were around the bottom of the float Club members riding the float wrere dressed in white and green. Then came the clippers and shears to get into action for the stock show. After the show' was over, our club had won grand champion dairy heifer and grand champion steer of the show. We also won third place with our pen of five, winning $6 00 for the club In all, the Ferron Livestock club had 28 beef calves, 10 fat lambs, eight breeding sheep and 12 dairy calves. As leaders, we would like to thank the club members and their parents for the beautiful silverware set they gave us at the show.
