If you are under 65 and had gross income of $600 or more, or over 65 and had gross income of $1,200 or more, you must file a federal income tax return re- gardless of whether you owe tax or not, and it does not matter whether you are a man, woman or child; you are required to file a return by April 15, 1960. It may be that you had income of less than $600 or $1200) and income tar was withheld from your paychecks. In this case, you should file a tax return. It will show that you owe no tax and Uncle Sam will refund the withheld tax. Also, if your income was from and was more than $400 you are required to file an income tax return and report and pay your tax even though you do not owe income tax. Forest Service To Improve Gorge Camp Sites More than half a million dollars will be spent within the next three years to develop Forest Service recreational facilities around the Flaming Gorge Dam cn the Ashley National Forest in Utah, Regional Forestannounced er Floyd Iverson Thursday. In 1962 the finished dam wil be surrounded by 13 campgrounds geared to accomodate 1,200 people at a time, 3 scenic overlooks, and 3 boat ramps. U1 timate plans call for 66 campmore grounds to accomodate than 9,000 people simultaneously. Wilmer of the; Census Bureau's regional office at Denver, Colo. Ralph Robson will be super-- ; visor of the district office. He will direct a force of 20 crew leaders and 285 census takers in (he following counties: Beaver,; Box Elder, Cache, Carbon, Daggett, Duchesne, Emery, Garfield, Grand, Iron, Juab, Kane, Millard, Morgan, Piute, Rich, San Juan, Sanpete, Sevier, Summit, Washington, Uintah, Wasatch, Wayne and Weber Taking the 1960 Census nationally will require the services f 160,000 enumerators, 10,000 crew leaders, and 400 district supervisors, all temporary workers. The district supervisors, working under the general direction of the permanent regional field directors, are responsible for all phases of the census in their districts. Winter has recently halted work on five different areas near the dam outside Dutch John. During the past season, eleven camping units were installed at Little Hole Campground two miles below town on the Green River. A historic hideaway for western badmen like the Butch Cassidy gang, Little Hole will also be the first point below the for boat launching dam and will afford excellent fishing. Additional work was done on Canyon Glen campground west it of Dutch John, a campground at Dripping Springs near Little Hole, and a campground with units suitable for trailers across the river from Dutch John at Cedar Springs. Chain link fences are being constructed at four overlooks above Green River along Red Canyon rim to prevent people from falling. It's a 1,500 foot plunge from rim tc river, and the canyon walls gape a mile apart. More than 300,000 tourists will eventually tour the area for boating, water skiing, skin diving, fishing, hunting, packing, and hiking.
