Anne Lowe, 84, wife Galloway Lowe of this city, died Friday night at about 11p.m. Death was a shock to her family and relatives as she had not been ill and had been active about the home and In her flowers up to the time she retired at night. She was born at St. Louis, Missouri, December I, 1852, the daughter of Shorn and Elizabeth Anne Mills Purnell. She was among the early pioneers of Franklin, having been married to Mr. Lowe In 1871. The family made their home at Franklin until 1903 when they moved to Logan snd have resided here since that time. Three sons and one daughter have preceeded Mrs. Lowe, among them was Silver P. Lowe, a veteran of the World war who met an untimely death In a fire at McCammon, Idaho, in Letty Harris Surviving are her husband, six follows: sons and daughters as Mrs. Louise Poulter, Mrs. Fannie Mrs. Nora Hansen and Neeley, Era P. Lowe of Logan; James Lowe and Mrs. Vera Winter, Ogden; 25 grand children and 26 great grandchildren; a brother, Ernest Purnell of Salt Lake City. Funeral services are announced for Wednesday at 1 p m. In the Ninth ward chapel with Lindquist and Sons making arrangements. Burial will be In the family lot to the Logan cemetery. Miss Harris was born here, November 2, 1865, a daughter of Alma and Sarah Earl Harris. She had been active In church work, and up until taO months ago was associated with her brother, C. M. Harris, In the Harris Music Company for many years. Surviving are three brothers, C. M. and Frank Harris, Logan; Alma A. Harris, Los Angeles, Cal. Funeral services were conducted today in the Logan Eleventh ward chapel, with burial In the Logan city cemetery under the direction of the Lindquist & Sons mortuary. Utah Poultry Producers' association salesman died Monday in an Ogden hospital following a six weeks' Illness. He was born at Mlilvllle. Utah July 1, 1882, a son of Abel W. and Eliza Stephenson Garr. He had resided most of his life to Ogden and Salt Lake City, having been an employe of the Utah Idaho Central Railroad company prior to his association with the poultry company. In 1902-- 4 he served on a mission to the western slates. Surviving are his widow, formerly' Roseila Gunnell, who he married in Salt Lake City, September 28, 1904; two daughters, Mrs. Rulon Scott, Morgan, and Mrs. Harry four Rates, Sacramento, Cal.; grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. E. G. Campbell, Providence, and Mrs. A. R. Hovey, Cedar City. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p. m. in the Lindquist & Sons funeral chapel in Ogden, by Bishop Sylvester Anderson of the Millville ward.
