This relief is accomplished by providing-annual refunds payable by the Federal Government directly to the farmers. The first claims to be filed will be with respect to gasoline purchased after December 31, 1955, and used on a farm for farming purposes before July 1, 1956. These claims must be filed on or before September 30, 1956. Subsequent claims will cover the fiscql year period' July 1, to June 30. You may obtain a claim form and instructions from your county agents office or the local bank, or from the county clerks office.
