Start Within Year It is estimated that construction on the Flaming Gorge reservoir, which will also be known as the Ashley Damsite, will get underway within, the next year or eighteen months. Because of the amount of testing, tremendous engineering problems and a maize of other things to do before the congress can appropriate the funds for commencement of the Central Utah Project, it will probably be about three years before full scale production will begin, Mr. Neeley stated. Duchesne county will have at least $61,000,000 spent within its boundaries in the initial phase of the Central Utah Project, with about $8,000,000 going to Uintah county. It is estimated that 25 years will be required to complete the initial phase, and 75 years to see the ultimate - part of the project become a reality. Population Growth Considering the present valuation of Duchesne county from a taxing standpoint, if $61 million is spent in the county, it will be seven times the approximately valuation. As soon as construction begins, the county should enjoy a growth of at least 25 to 35 per cent or even greater. In concluding his remarks Mr. Neeley urged the people of the Basin to be ready when the time comes to begin building the treIf you want mendous projects. labor communities to be set up in your vicinity, then it behooves each city and town in Duchesne county to be ready when the influx of workers starts moving in of Seminary Elites Will Graduate ht POPULAR STUDENTS Maxine Lewis and Gary Robb, pop ular boy and girl at Duchesne High School.
