Paxman, state dry farm demonstrator of the Agricultural College, who was in Box Elder County, recently holding a series of meetings with the schools, has filed a report oi his findings with Superintendent D. C. Jensen, the facts being set forth in a letter of which the following is a copy: Mr. D. C. Jensen, County Supt. Box Elder County, Brigham City, Utah. Dear Mr. Jensen: It is but due you that I should report on my short visit in your county in the interest of agriculture and particularly in the dry farm end of it, of which your extensive county affords such great opportunities. During the three days I gave seven different talks to that many audiences and tried to give inspiration and encouragement to the tillers of the soil" and to point out the way of success. We met with 1,214 people and as far as I could judge from my view point they were all interested; and I felt highly complimented in the lively discussions that followed our meetings. The most perfect arrangements were made for these meetings by your supervisor Mr. Glenn, whose enthusiasm and Bpirlt I learned to admire. Think he has the right grip on his work. He certainly manifests a great love for it I found the people responded most admirably to his calls and showed great respect for him as far as I could observe. His treatment and that of the people to me was all that I could desire. The pleasure of the trip was enhanced in the company and music of Messrs Whitaker and McAllister. It seems to me that you have a very superior system of practical education in your county, which is bound to prove efficient to all the people the producers as well as the others. If I can always have the support in my work in your county that I felt on this trip I shall have good hope of doing some good in my feeble efforts. I thank you most sincerely for your sympathy and consideration, and all those who joined with you, and beg to subscribe myself. Very sincerely yours, J. W.
