The morning services consisted of Sunday school exercises, the pupils, teachers and officers comprising the larger portion of the congregation, Supt. J. D. Peters being in charge. The choir and congregation sang, Did you Think to Pray. Prayer by Elder J. F. Bowring. Supt. J. D. Peters made a brief report of the Sunday school work in the stake, Elder Adolph Madsen spoke of the progress of the Sunday schools and advised the young people of their duty to parents and the priesthood. Elder Lorenzo Anderson, a returned missionary, gave an account of his labors m Scandinavia. Bishop Facer of Willard, Bishop Durfey of the Beaver ward, Elder Tolman of Honeyville and Prest. Chas. Kelly made brief remarks. Prof. Ernest Nichols treated the audience to a solo "Jerusalem on the saxaphone. , Hymn by the choir and congregation. Benediction, Patriarch J. D. Burt. In the afternoon, after the opening exercises, sacrament was administered by the bishopric of the Third ward. Bishop James Nelson reported the condition of the Perry ward as being very satisfactory. Their new meeting house is nearly ready to be dedicated. Oleen N. Stohl of the stake presidency presented the names of the general and stake officers who were unanimously sustained. The speakers following were Elders Lucius A. Snow, Oleen N. Stohl and Chas. Kelly of the stake presidency aod Nephi Anderson, stake clerk. Their remarks showed that there is not that unity os feeling among the members of the church in this stake and particularly in this city that should exist and they urged the people to have more charity and greater respect for the priesthood. At the evening services Nephi Anderson, stake Supt. of the Y, M. M. I. associations, presided. Remarks were made by N. J. Valentine, Mrs Nancy H. Nichols, Miss Hattie Wight and Adolph Madsen.
