Show Sunday School Conference. There was a large attendance at the jjox Elder stake Sunday school conference last Sunday, three sessions being held. Stake Supt. J. D. Some time, program was rendered consisting of some well rendered songs, Elder Seymour B. Young gave some general instretions, referring particularly to the benefits of keeping the Word of Wisdom. At the afternoon session John II. recitations and speeches after which picnic was served. The young missionary was presented with a purse of $61.65 to help him on his journey. Monday social a was held at the evening First ward meeting house in which the ward choir took a part. He was presented with a nicely bound volume of the Articles of Faith. Returning home from social the choir he was agreeably surprised by finding a host of his friends and associates gathered to pay him their respects. The was evening pleasantly spent and a well filled purse was also presented to him. Bott, first asst, to stake supt., reported the coodition of the stake Sunday schools. He urged the parents to look after the interests of their children. The Sunday schools generally, he said, are improving. J. D. Call, second assistant, said he knew the Sunday schools were engaged in Gods work. He spoke on union work and urged officers and meeting teachers to attend these meetings. Oh!
