Although in poor health for several years Mrs. Otteson was confined to her bed only about a week. The deceased : was born in Spanish Fork in 1866. She was the daughter of Taylor and Olive Butler, pioneers of this city., She was married to Hyrum Otteson about thirty years ago. She was the mother of fourteen children, only five of whom survive. They are, Hans Otteson, Mrs. Sarah Barney. Lyman Otteson, Irvin Otteson and Hannah Ottteson. She is also survived by her husband and four brothers, John, James, Jesse and Jedlah Butler, and three sisters, Mrs. Samuel Curtis, Mrs. Myrtle Davis of Salem and Mrs. Lydia Avery of Price. Impressive funeral services were held yesterday afternoon over the remains of Charity Butler Otteson at the Palmyra Meeting House: Bishop A. T. Money was in charge.
