Multitudes, of people, that had no opportunity, to ride, walked to the cemetery, and through, the falling snow muddy sidewalks, when the procession arrived at the cemetry, the pallbearers, under command of Sergeant Ed. Clark, carried the remains to the grave, after the body bad been lowered, it was covered with the American Flag, and a shower of beautiful flowers. Prayer was then ofiered up by the Lev. H. 11. McCiawry, after which a solute of time shots were tired over the grave, and taps were blown by trumpter G ;o. Gledhill, of Gunnison.
