Grain from in large quantities is rolling in Cacho an the farming Within the past month more strangers looking for locations for. different kinds of business have visited Corinne than in the preceding ten months. The majority of them express themselves satisfied with the country and many of them say they intend to locale here the com jntf year. A good opportunity is now offered to turn the tide of emigration into the valley, as almost every day some person who has passed the summer in California, and become satisfied "that there is no longer ary chance for obtaining, land in California than in the eastern States, leaves that State and is looking through the valleys of the mountains to find a suitable location. All are well aware, who have any knowledge of the mountain country, that no better opppr tunitics are offered to actual settlers any place in the United States than in Bear River valley. The climate is mild, fruit of all deacriptions can bo grown in abundance, and for raising grain the country is not excelled if equalled by any in the Mississippi valley. The only thing necessary to secure settlors is to inform them of the advantages of the country, and now is the time to commence the work in earnest. Thousands of people who have made arrangements to settle in the Black Hills' have been disappointed and cannot afford to wait any longer for that country to bo opened for settlerb and would be glad .to commence work again under almost any circumstances, and the dull times in the States are causing a multitude of people to become dissatisfied with their present situation and they are ready to make a change whenever an opportunity is J. the Co Farlin, Kuhl-man- n, - M.
