OO tho IlFI I Com m inlcatsZL notoriously wicked and the inconeistent church goers, let us look at those who neglect public worship from some excuse of tb-- ir own. ,Sonebaf . to wtk;f bat tey have not' to'go to church. Ft is al like work; ee they stay away. I necessity It is just new our busy season; we must I make hay while the sun shines. I would lese half my trade by turning away and disappointing fay old customer when they come en Sunday. These kind of excuses for not attending public worship on the Sabbath deny the providence of God. Beheld the fowls of the air; they sow not, neither do they reap er gather. into barns, and yet your Heav-eal- y Father fsedeth them; are ye not much better than they ? They impiviolate the moral and physical ously laws of God. These who are controlled by such ideas not only trample upon law and good order, but invite dish eoesty and fraud to their trade, and those who disregard God's laws have generally a desire, if not some skill, in evading and traasgressing with impunity the laws of man. Sunday work is a dangerous work. Aod the danger is not so great of being choated as of learning to choat. For a man who would deliberately cheat a kind Father would certainly have little conscience in cheating his neighbor. Our Heavenly Father has raservad one day in seven for bis worship, and after giving us six days for our own employment it is ungrateful robbery to claim the Lords day. Those who work instead of attending public worship on the Lords day are therefore m the position of one who is known to need watching, and this disgrace will lose any man more of his best custom than the trade of one day in seven. The body and mind heeds ibis rest as much as sleep; and the man who wears out his life in slavish, unnatural labor, commits suicide as certainly, and aa wickedly, as by taking some slow poison. But the great sin every man commits, who thus neglects Gods worship, is against his own spiritual life. The fruits and flowers, the ripened grain, or the songs of birds, could no more exist without the light of the sun, than love and joy, and peace and happiness can grow away from God. He is the sun and centre of all our happiness. In his worship and service we fiad our greatest good, our most noble end and highest aim of life. To neglect therefore to perform this worship aod homage is to go away into moral night, to he a com pan ion to the beasts of darkness, who love darkness rather than light, because their deeds are evil. nt Sisson, Wallace A , Co. have received Eastern Buckwheat Flour, pure. coninnt opera house just ? ock of toy ever brought to Corinne. Thera is nothing ia that Una but what can he found at bis establishment.
