At least such, say the old timers, is indicated when the district is visited by the early fall rains. Last year was a wetter season than Dixie has known for several years. No doubt it was the inaguration of the seven years of plenty, after the seven of want and famine. Dixie will hail gladly all the storm which can come, just so it is not distributed in floods and deluges. Here the conditions are made all the more pleasant through a little storm.
