Hampton said that demonstrates the Spirit Award Its the only formal program where a peer can recognize another peer for doing a good job, she said adding its managements responsibility to point out employees who are excelling, but it can be even more special when enjoyed this one so much because besides sitting on the committee, I get to present these awards, she said. Chet Mitchell, the base civilian awards program manager, said the Hill AFB Spirit Award is the bases most visible program, and it immediately brings visual pride when people see the jacket. Mitchell said when he presents the awards, workers eyes light up when they realize peers feel theyre contribution to their particular organization.
