Individual involved: Pearl Jensen, Inventory Management Specialist Contribution As the inventory man- agement specialist for a workload that has recently gone through realignments due to manpower and organizational restructuring, Jensen jumped in and worked diligently to take cataloging actions, and clean up and move item folders for numerous workloads. Supervision made several workload realignments and I volunteered to do the transferring, said Jensen. I interrogated hundreds of items making the necessary corrections involving several systems. There was a lot of clean up involved, which included cataloging and disposal actions. I took on this responsibility in addi: tion to my heavy workload, said Jensen. I feel my positive attitude is infectious to some degree. I train a lot of materiel managers and assist equipment specialists with some of their problems. Hundreds of stock numbers were interrogated and researched. Jensen assigned them to the new materiel managers and equipment specialists and got rid of all obsolete work making cor-- Mi ACHIEVEMENT, COMMITMENT. amo Excellence rections where needed in the various ' systems. She made the item realignments more accurate and less confusing to all. Jensens willingness to assist other inventory management specialists and equipment specialists with problems was commended and her positive attitude and professionalism were noted in the award citation. I think well be better able to manage our items because I tried to separate the wheat from the chaff, said Jensen.
