Show December 9, 1 999 Force shaping affects chaplains, health professionals araaininq units' merae AF by AFMC News Service The Federal Labor Relations Authority issued a ruling June 3 approving the consolidation of American Federation of Government Employees bargaining units at six additional Air Force Materiel The Air Force will take applications Jan. 4 under the Phase III Military Force Shaping Program. As with previous phases, all enlisted personnel and line officers are not eligible for force shaping programs in fiscal year 2000 Command installations, into the AFMC headquarters-leve- l bargaining unit represented by AFGE Council 214. Affected by this decision are AFGE bargaining units at Arnold, Brooks, Edwards, Eglin, Los Angeles, and Kirtland Air Force Bases. "With the approval of the consolidation of these six additional bases, the command-wid- e AFGE barnow unit of consists gaining approximately 45,000 represented civilian employees, and is now the single largest bargaining unit in the Department of Defense," said Raymond Rush, the headquarters AFMC labor relations officer.
