Show Jazz hope to be better prepared Scoreboard NBA standings - LAKE CITY (AP) The Utah Jazz return home tonight after a disastrous e road trip which illustrated one fact: the NBA club needs to work on its mental attitude. "This team could be very good," said forward Marc Iavaroni, interviewed Monday on a KSL radio talk show with teammate Kelly Tripucka. "(One) thing that's standing in the way of success is mental preparedness for the game." e The Jazz finished a without win a and trip dropped to 2 ''2 games behind Dallas in the Midwest Division. Utah, which last won Jan. 10, 105-9- 6 over Indiana, traveled to Seattle the following night and lost Tripucka said the Jazz were at a disadvantage because Seattle entered the game with three days rest, while Utah was making its second start in less than 24 hours. "They were sitting there waiting for us," Tripucka said. "We had our heads handed to us." That game set the tone for the road trip.
