Show Monday, August 9, Ford Gets convocation Locations For T' Graduates in Fifteen colleges and bachelor's candidate professional schools will hold separate convocations this Friday following the summer commencement exercises at Brigham Young University, President Oallin H. Oaks reported. The traditional academic procession will leave the Smoot Administration Building at a.m., led by BYU members of the 9 officials, board of trustees, special guests and faculty members. Commencement exercises will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Marriott Center, with Dr, Robert K. Thomas, academic vice president at BYU, as the featured speaker. The public is invited. The degrees will be officially conferred on the graduates in the commencement ceremonies by BYU President Oaks, then they will receive the diplomas at the separate convocations. ROTC Commissioning All of the convocations will be held Friday with the exception of the Army ROTC commissioning exercises which are scheduled Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in room 321 of the Wilkinson Center, with retired Army Lt. Col. Gerald Gillie as speaker.
