We will have some high water from the snow melt run off but Mother Nature still holds the key for extent of flood damage. Last year the first half of May was much colder than usual which contributed to the excessive runoff and flooding. Lets hope for an extended dry spell with a gradual warming trend. There have been millions of dollars worth of channel clearing and streambank stabilization work completed and it is still going on.
