PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Park City Municipal Corporation (City), located in Summit County Utah, is soliciting written Proposals from qualified construction managers/general contractors for the purpose of providing pre-construction and construction services for the construction of the 3Kings Water Treatment Plant and associated improvements (“Project”) using the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) delivery method. The Project is intended to provide a treatment plant capable of meeting the Safe Drinking Water Act, the City’s stated drinking water quality goals, and the State of Utah’s Division of Drinking Water (“DDW”) regulations for the Judge Tunnel, Spiro Tunnel, and Thiriot Spring raw water quality conditions. The facility’s treatment process is primarily for metals removal, similar in function to a complex surface water treatment plant, and will be capable of achieving a treatment design capacity rating of 3,500 gpm, average daily flowrate, (approx. 5 million gallons per day) based on established raw water quality parameters and the City’s treated water quality goals, with an additional 1,000 gpm (approx. 1.4 million gallons per day) of treatment capacity for the Thiriot Spring. The 3KWTP site is located in a sensitive residential and recreational area and is being designed to integrate into the neighborhood. The facility will consist of structures which contain administration, operations and maintenance, and treatment process elements with an overall goal of achieving net-zero nergy efficiency for the collective facility buildings and to incorporate sustainable building enhancements consistent with selected City goals.
