Students spoke and shared frustrations over the current nationwide gun control debate a month after 17 people at a Florida high school were killed by a former student wielding a semi-automatic rifle. A march on Main Street is planned for March 24. A “Guns Have More Rights Than My Vagina” sign has the finishing touches put on it in the hallway prior to the student walkout. Katie Lobrot, from left in denim jumper, Eli Luke, Isabelle Aglaure and Audrey Buchanan hold “I Could Be Next” signs as they lie in the bus lane of Park City High School’s parking lot. The signs were offered to every student participating as they left the building. Student speakers address fellow Miners sitting in the school’s bus stall during the demonstration. Students hold handmade signs aimed at Utah politicians, the NRA and gun manufacturers after the demonstration.
