Participants will meet at the Swaner EcoCenter, 1258 Canter Drive at Kimball Junction, and embark on an hour-and-a-half excursion and learn about the animals that live on the 1,200-acre preserve. The cost is $5 for nonmembers and free for Swaner EcoCenter members. PRESCHOOL STORY TIMES AT THE SUMMIT COUNTY LIBRARY Ms. Kirsten will host free preschool story times at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. every Tuesday at the Summit County Library Kimball Junction Branch, 1885 W. Ute Blvd. The events, designed for 4- and 5-year-olds will feature picture books, fingerplay puppets, dancing, all kinds of crazy reading fun and a simple craft. For information, visit www.thesummitcountylibrary.org. These students -- who range from 7 to 11 -- don’t just learn the difference between Russian and United States ballet technique. They also discover the love Chapourskaya has for the art. “I have to give my kids what I have here inside,” Chapourskaya said, pointing to her heart, just before class. “Some students here are very talented, and feel it, and some come to take ballet for fun. But they all want to learn.” Chapourskaya has taught at Dance Tech Studios for eight years. Missoula Theatre gets kids out of their shells ‘The Tortoise Versus the Hare’ will open at the DeJoria Center By SCOTT IWASAKI The Park Record CONTRACT BRIDGE LEAGUE-SANCTIONED DUPLICATE BRIDGE Mountain Bridge Club holds weekly duplicate games sanctioned by the American Contract Bridge League each Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. at Temple Har Shalom, 3700 Brookside Court. Leah Sanginiti and Brandon Butorovich have been working with 64 South Summit Middle School students on a theatrical production of “The Tortoise Versus the Hare” for the past five days. The students will perform the Missoula Children’s Theatre musical at 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, at the DeJoria Center, 970 N.
