Show UVSC Cioiema screens film Oscar-winni- ng Almost everybody has seen last year's Best Picture Oscar winner, "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King." But how many local moviegoers saw Errol Morris' "The Fog of War: Eleven Lessons from the IJfe of R()bertS. McNamara," winner of the Best Documentary Feature Oscar? The critically praised film, an look at the career of former Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara, had a several-week run at Salt Lake City's Broadway Centre Cinemas, but never made it to a movie screen in Utah Valley . until now. . "The Fog of War" wffl be screened tonight at Utah Valley State College. The screening will be the first in the school's annual Reel Film series. McNamara, defense secretary to presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson, was a key figure in the shaping of U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War. At age 86, he participated fully in the filming of "The Fog of War," granting Morris extensive interviews. The screening will be held at 7 p.m. in UVSCs Computer Science Building, Room 404.
