Show 1 .J THE HERALD, TUESDAY, JUNE 13, 1922. 'N i WHO STUMBLES MOST DANCES BEST D.SR.G. RAILROAD SAYS II PUT 1 Mil HIM BACK ON PRAISES PROVO FEET I STUMBLING TWICE Walter H. Olpin supervisor of agriculture for the Denver & Rio Grande railroad, hurried from Kansas City. Mo., to Provo to attend the Jersey cattle exhibition held here Saturday. Mr. Olpin wag in Kansas City representing his railroad at the ''Heart of American" dairy show and American Holsteln convention. "Kansas has a magnificent collection of Holstein cattle." Mr. Olpin! said, bat Provo has as magnificlent a oollection of Jersey cattle) ,to show; not as many as were the j Holsteins at Kansas City but that show drew prize Holsteins from all over the country. I congratulate Provo and Ttah county on the pro--j gress made here in Jersey cattle breeding and in the progress of the dairy industry. "This is, as far as I know, the only locality in the Unilcd States which stands so high In both fruit and dairy lines. Few places having such magnificlent fruit pay any attention to dairying; in some localities fruit imen have to buy butter shipped from a distance and live on canned milk.' Mr. Olpin praised Utah county fruit very highly. "Cherries here, especially sweet cherries, are the finest grown anywhere under the sun. When I went through Denver many men In our offices asked me to secure cra tes of sweet cherries from Provo Bench . The first thing I did after getting into Provo Saturday morning was to call up a fruit dealer and ask him to ship to our offices 60 crates of sweet cherries. "Provo is getting fame all over the nation as a noted fruit center and now ecuring a fine reputation as a Jersey cattle breeding center. This is bound to become one of the foremost markets for pure Jersey cattle." Mr. OJpin who frequently visits in Utah county, looking after agricultural lntrests for the railroad expressed plersure when told of the establishment of a daily newspaper here. "The Daily Herald Is the newest daily on the D. & R. G. line," he re marked, "copies of the paper that nave reached 'me have been excel lent: they shor, more than other one thing, the progressive spirit now awakening in Provo." Three years ago, I had rhcuma tism in my shoulders and neck so bad I could hardly work. I tried medicine after medicine only to gt worse, but finally I got hold of Tanlac, and I haven't had a trace of rheumatism since. "Then last summer my stomach got out of order, I lost my appetite and what little I did eat made me feel bloated, all stuffed up and mis erable. I always felt weak, tired and worn out, and was so nervous I couldn't sleep. "Well, Tanlac did a good Job for me before, so 1 just got some more of It, and now It has again fixed me up, and I'm feeling strong and energetic 11) e I used to. I'll tell the world Tanlac's the medicine for me." Tanlac is sold by all good drug Mrs. Emma Huber, whose husband was fatally injured while an employe of Utah county, has been awarded compensation by the State industrial commission. She is to receive $12.12 a week for 380 weeks, payments to commence as of March 28, 1922, the accumulated payments to be paid in a lump sum.
