The consequence was more unemploy ment, which relegated a large group of the people to which in turne decreased production still further. And Bp the vicious circle went on. The cessation of purchasing brought about a stagnation of business and prices began to fall with great rapid ity. This falling of prices took place more rapidly in some lines than in others. This naturally brought about a dissatisfaction and further de creased purchasing. The return to normal can only be brought about by the resumption of business through the demand for commodities. It is up to us as individuals to lend our mite to this general movement to bring back normal conditions. It must not be forgotten that to stimu late normal conditions locally, purchasing must be done locally. Patronize Provo and Utah county merchants, farmers, and professional men. And they in turn will patronize you. A community is great only so far as the patriotism of its people make it great. This can best be shown by that confidence in each other which is exemplified in some measure by trading at home. Provo, Utah. e Kearns Hotel BLOCK WEST OF H. Provo, Utah. tion.
