Field Day began with the ninth grade home rooms carrying on a cleanup campaign on the schoolgrounds. In the afternoon, students agreed to give up formal classwork in favor of the track meet. Competition included such events as the shot put, high jump, pole vault, broad jump, relays and various footraces for the boys.
