Mr. Geo. Uoek, chairman of the troop committee, was toastmasler and introduced the sis'akers. Proceeding the banquet an Illustrated led lire on the growth and development of fish and birds Vas presented by the Fish and Game Warden. After the moving picture lecture, Scout Virgil Howell struck fire with a sled in thirteen seconds from time of beginning. That was thrilling. After this feat there was a flag ceremony given demonstrating the different forms of respect due Hie flag under different conditions. The flag was presented unfolded and then carefully folded In military order; then the flag was hung vertically; then horizontally; then followed the proper form in company with a Iroop flag Isith on' parade and at post. After this lesson, four tenderfoot scouts were initialed. Following each boy escorted his parents, and the Scout Commissioners escorted the special guests of the evening to lite banquet hall, w here the Kelief Society Work Committee, Mrs. Collet t, as chairman, served a sumptions meal. The table was decorated with daffodils, cherry blossoms ami sprays of svringa. Places were indicated by place cards on which was written appropriate sentiments of boys altitude toward parents and parents attitude toward Ixiys.
