Time change our taste In ninny things. But somehow our taste for old fashioned soft ginger cook lea re mains the same. Ask your mothers or grandmothers if they still don't like the old fashioned soft ginger ookies as well today as they did when they were youngsters. Sit down with a group of your friends lu the afleriiism to have a cup of coffee or a cut) of tea and see how pulckly they disappear. Ask your husband if he wouldn't like some soft ginger cookies with a glass of milk, and he will be as eager as a small boy. And if you want to give the school children a xpeclul treat Just slip a couple of these cisikles into ehtir lunch (sixes. I have ask ed ever so many iHople of both "YA ho sexes anil all ages, likes soft ginger cookies?" nnd I always get the same answer "I do." So I am sure It is safe to say that this kind of a cooky is ever.vlsidv's favorllo. Many of my radio friends who follow my programs twice a week over a National Broadcasting Com pany network have sent me their favorite molasses or ginger cisiky reciis's until I have so many they fill a whole drawer in one of my files. But although there Is a great imilarity between many of them there are no others quite like the recipe I want to offer you. I waul ed an inexpensive cisiky (he other lay a cooky recipe that did not all for too many eggs, or too much shortening, but would taste like grand mother's old recipe for soft ginger cisikles. And I was fortuiuile enough to find a recipe that fulfilled all these requirements. It is called Ginger Creams, and here it Is: h .. tlwiriii. ii K I 1.9 1 rup of sugar egg 2 1 uit Ends ". pear within twenty daya after the service of this summons upon you, If served within the county In which this action U brought; otherwise, within thirty days after service, and defend the above entitled action; and in ease of your failure so to do, judgment will he rendered against you according to the demand of the complaint, which has been filed with the Clerk of said Court.
