We take pleasure la adding this week a more complete account of his life and of his funeral services. William R. Clark was born In Iiclmnon Springs, Xew York, March 23. 1N51, and passed away ht Murray lVeember 27, 1027. : In the spring of 1SM3 he came to Montana, lccoining in time one of its most prosis-roustockmen. Most of his life was spent at his ranch on Mcllcssor Creek. In 1S07 he was married to Augosta V. Iarnit.er who survives him. He also has an aged sister, Mrs. Louise Jillet. a brother and wife, !Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Clark, and a nephew, Arthur and wife living In, the old liome village in Xew York During the last twenty-livyears of his life he has sis-n- t his winters in Murray w.here he has a host of friends. He had suffered from heart trouble for some months but the end came unexpectedly ami laid away quietly. He wished to in Montana among the mountains be loved so well. His widow, lieing too ill to carry out his wishes, Carl Darnitzer, Mrs. Clark's rother came to Murray to accompany the body to the old school house at Point of Rocks, Montana, where Rev. Ricketts of the Methodist church conducted the services and a host of old friends laid him to rest in the nearby. The many beautiful floral offerings sent by friends Isith of Murray and points in Montana, made a wonderful contrast to the snowy mantle covering the friendly earth which opened her arms to receive one of her true sons.
