John Lewis is at the LDS Missionary Training Center in Provo and is preparing for a Bangkok, Thailand mission. His son Tom Lewis just from an LDS returned Cleveland, Ohio Mission and now helps him on the ranch. They sell hay, corn silage, and barley as well as beef. Peggy and Stan have three daughters as well, two whom have married are Lisa Lewis Barber of Highland and Susan Lewis Peterson of Lehi. Natalie Lewis is beginning her Junior year at Lehi High School. She will be the last of Lewis' children to be on the Longhorn Rodeo Team and just got back from competing on the state level for the team. After expenses are paid, the funds contribute to worthwhile community activities and organizations. In particular, the CIA has been a sponsor of the Lehi student delegates, the Little Buckaroo Rodeo, Longhorn Team National Finalists, and Miss Lehi. They have donated funds for such items as floodlights for the High School Athletic Field, high school band uniforms, city street markers, a portable public address system for civic functions, and most recently to the Lehi Veterans Memorial fund. He and his wife Peggy have served as advisors to the Longhorn Rodeo Team for four years and they have been over the Lehi Roundup Queen Contest for over four years. Lewis was a volunteer of the Lehi Fire Department for about 24 years and retired two years ago. Two months after WWII began, Mayor Dean Prior and the city council created the volunteer committee. It was officially organized on February 20, 1941 with Alva H. Wing as its first president.
