Show OBITUARIES New Utah! - April 7. 1999 - Pago 1 5 Blaine Thomas Carol Dawn Warnick Miller Sara OnealJacklin Roylance Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Carol Dawn Sara Oneal Jacklin Roylance, age 92, died April 4, 1999. She was bom September 17, 1906 in her family in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints and served in many leadership positions in all the organizations. We will miss her sense of humor and her ability to make the best of life. She loved her grandchildren unconditionally and made each one feel special in their own way. She was specially proud of her oldest six grandsons who have served or are serving LDS Missions. She is survived by her husband Glenn, daughters: Sharon (Alan) Banks and Jann (Lewis) Bankhead; her son, Mark (Nancy) Miller; her sisters: Janet (Kent) Anderson and Diane (Sterling) Brereton, and fifteen grandchildren who loved her dearly. Funeral services were held Monday, April 5, in the Orem Third Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Warnick Miller, 70, of Orem, died March 30, 1999 in y UVRMC from complications due to pneumo nia. She was born May 18, 1928 in " Manila, to Utah I -- :'' 1 Howard and Ruby Warnick. She married Glenn Miller on June 24, 1948 in the' Salt Lake Temple. ; - She was an avid reader, loved good literature, and enjoyed going to the theatre. She also enjoyed writing about her lift experiences. She took pride in her home and loved decorating her surroundings in her own unique style. Last summer she and Glenn were able to celebrate her golden wedding anniversary with Madson Berdell 'Dell' Thompson Verteraris Hospital in Salt Lake City. He was born ' January 16, in 1925 Escalante, great-grandchildre- n. to Utah James and Ellen Additional survivors include sisters: Loretta Alvey and Edna Peterson Haycock. He was preceded in Thompson. He married Bonnie Joan Schlundt on September 14, 1947. They were later divorced. He grew up and attended schools in Boulder, Utah. He served in the Army during Fork, Utah to and John Martha Oneal Jacklin. She married Earl death by two granddaughters: Shelly and Robin Carter. In accordance with Dell's wishes, a private interment with immediate family was held at Boulder, Utah. Their marriage was later solomnized in the LDS Provo Temple. He preceded her in death on October 27, 1977. Sara was active in the LDS Church and enjoyed Relief Society. She was an expert at all types of needlecraft, sewing (including professional) , teaching tatting, knitting, and crocheting. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 8, 1999 at 1:00 p.m. at the Freedom 2nd Ward, 888 South Freedom Blvd., Provo.
