Show Citizen, Free Press, Review (tbykasant Published joint public hearing notice public input and comment on the Agency's deliberations on the preliminary redevelopment plan, the proposed project area budget and whether or not the preliminary redevelopment plan and the proposed project area budget should be adopted, rejected or amended, pursuant to Sections 3 and Annotated Utah Code 1953, as amend- ed PUBLIC PURPOSE OF HEARING The purposes of the second public hearing will be to: (1) inform the public about the proposed redevel- area (the "Project Area"); (2) allow public input into the Agency's deliberations and considerations regarding a proposed or preliminary redevelopment plan (the "Redevelopment Plan"); opment project and allow public comment on: (a) the preliminary Redevelopment Plan; (b) the proposed project area budget; and (c) whether or not (3) the preliminary Redevelopment Plan and the proposed project area budget should be adopted, rejected or amended. (2) a map showing the boundaries of the proposed Project Area is available for inspection at the offices of the Redevelopment Agency located at 70 South 100 East, Pleasant Grove, Utah; (3) the Project Area is being proposed for possible redevelopment, a blight study has been conducted, a blight hearing has been held and the property within the proposed Project Area has been declared a "blighted area" as that term has been defined by State law; a (4) preliminary Redevelopment Plan for the of the proredevelopment posed Project Area is being prepared by the Agency; (5) if the preliminary Redevelopment Plan is adopted and it the Agency obtains the majority consent of the taxing agency committee (the Taxing Agency Committee") to a Project Area budget (the "Project Area Budget"), and if the Redevelopment Plan provides for a division of tax revenues, then property taxes resulting from increases in valuation above the taxable value as shown on the last equalized assessment rod could be allocated to the Agency for redevelopment purposes, rather than being paid into the treasury of the taxing agencies;' (6) taxing entities included in the proposed Project Area are invited to consult with the Agency and to submit comments concerning the subject matter of the Joint Public Hearing prior to the date of the hearing; (7) persons or entities having objections to the pro- posed Preliminary Redevelopment Plan, or the denying regularity of any of the proceedings may appear at the hearing or may file written objections prior to the time and date of the with the hearing Redevelopment Agency or the City Recorder of Pleasant Grove City, showing cause why the proposed Redevelopment Project Area Budget should not be adopted.
