The project started with last year's PTA president, Stephanie Neeley, who had an Easter fundraiser that was very successful. Under the direction of Suzanne Pulham, PTA president for this year, the PTA earned the rest of the money from the Fall Carnival and the sales from the Wrorld Finest Chocolates; the chocolate company paid 10 percent of the cost of the marquee in exchange for using their celebrate it's 100 years of service, members of the Utah State Historical Society are requesting help from residents, who can provide oral history interviews on all aspects of Utah history, covering at least the p;ist 70 years. Although members of the society would like to document oral histories, reaching beyond the past 100 years, they are aware that few people have memories of events that far back, resulting in their 70 year goal. Adamson credited Peck Building Supply, Jack B Larsen Cement, Adamson Construction, C.E.D. and BMC West in Orem, for supplies and parts for the installation. The PTA has also requested an electrical connection so that the sign can be lighted. "We appreciate everyone who has helped to get this project accomplished," said Pulham.
