The first class will be held on Monday, June 5 from 9 to 10 a.m. Although the fees for the class are not included in pass or admission prices, punch cards may be purchased at the city pool, or participants may pay per visit. classes will conThe aerobic exercise, sist of a warm-umuscle toning (especially for thighs and tummies) and a one-ho- p, cool-dow- n. Aquatic exercise helps people manage their weight, relieve stress J;A.?Ut;ii and become more fit, while lessening the impact on the joints and reducing the risk of injury. Water aerobics is a great workout for people with joint and back problems or for pregnant women. Instructors for the class will be Susan Wilson and Amy Leinweber, who have been specially trained in water aerobics. . t - ' - " r r" " mm mm t. r, . sills? . , j ij j Registration opens Saturday for swimming lessons will start Registration Saturday, May 27 for summer swimming lessons at the Lehi . Municipal Swimming Pool. The first session of lessons will be held from June with classes at 10 a.m., 10:45 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., with a mother-to-t class at 12:15 p.m.; other sessions, each nine lessons long, will start June 19, July 10, July 25 and Aug. 7. Fees for one child will be $18; two children in the same family will pay $17 each and three or 5, more in the same family will pay $16 each; family pass holders will pay $15 each. All registration will take place from 9 to 10 a.m. at the pool; lessons must be paid for at the time of registration. No registrations will be taken by telephone. Parents may register children for any of the sessions during the summer, but may not register a child for more than one session at a time Tn order to prevent assigning a child to the wrong class. Children with Red Cross cards from their most recent class should bring the cards to help instructors place the child in the correct class. Soccer players asked to return equipment; lost and found items held All participants in the Lehi Youth Soccer program offered through Lehi City Recreation, are reminded to return all equipment to Dennis Beck, 321 N. 100 West, Lehi, as soon as possible. Several items, including car keys, sweaters and coats, from the picture day were found and are being held for the owners. The Under 14 soccer team is still accepting players for the competition team.
