Volunteers are sought at this time being specifically to help during the upcoming games in two categories: Host families are needed who are willing to take athletes into their homes to spend the night of May 25, give them breakfast the next morning and transport them to the stadium. The athletes usually bring sleeping bags, so beds are not needed. Mr. Fisher says thai ideal volunteers are community andor church groups, as well as individuals who have an interest. Athletes will be assigned to the volunteers and complete instructions will be given. Competition will include track and field events, volley ball, soccer, frisbee-disand wheel chair events. He was born March 9, 1909 in Lehi to George and Mary Elizabeth Taylor Strasburg. He married Laura Pauline Bryant Nov. 4, 1936 in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a millwright at U.S. Steel's Geneva Works for 25 years and was active in church and civic affairs. As a member of the LDS church, he was a branch president of the Mercur branch and a scoutmaster. At the time of his death he was a High Priest in the Lehi 6th Ward. He was a director of the Lehi Civic Imvice provement Association, president and president of the Lehi Lions Club, a member of the Lehi Council, a member of the Hutchings Museum Board and a member of the Lehi Irrigation Board. Survivors include his wife of Lehi, one son, George Bryant Strasburg, Lehi; four grandchildren; three brothers and five sisters, Lloyd Strasburg, Lehi; Eugene Strasburg, Mid vale; Allen Strasburg, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Fred (Ruby) Woolston, Edna Strasburg, Mrs. Provo; Emma Johnson, Mrs. May Daly and Mrs. Lucille Rodgers, all of Lehi.
