VISIT IN HURRICANE Bishop and Mrs. Harvavrd R. Hinton and family spent several days in Hurricane last week, visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Hinton. They reported a lavish crop of peaches there. Family members joined in canning the fruit for winter use. Young Scott Hinton remained with his grandparents for an additional week's visit. His father made the trip to bring him home, Tuesday. Utah County Sheriffs Jeep Patrol has become a familiar sight on the highway and in Civic parades, and activities. Much publicity has been given to the known search and rescue activities but only people who have been in trouble which could have meant walking out of the mountains and deserts several miles to obtain aid can fully appreciate the numerous times that each of the thirty members of the patrol has rendered aid and assistance. Each member of the Patrol is required to own, equip and operate a four wheel drive vehicle at his own expense. Periodic in spections are made to insure constant maintenance and full equipment in top condition, and ready to go. The Utah County Sheriff's.
