The bond election will be necessary before the city can take advantage ot the $38,000 loan recently approved by the government. Of the $38,000. $11,400 would be given to the city and the remaining $26,600 would be on a Ions time loan. The condition of the wood pipe Is by officials who have made special study of its conditon, to be such that a break is expected at any time. Should this occur; the people know what the town condition would be. If the bond is voted the city would receive the $11,400 aa a gift from the government and this would go a long way toward replacing the pipe. The pipe will have to be replaced at sometime in the near future and citizens should consider the fact that soon they will have to vote for a bond for replacement whether they accept the government loan or not.
