The city officials have designated the large wash on Basin Hill as the proper place for the disposal of garbage. The place is easy to reach" and people can drive within a few feet from the edge of the wash with garbage and trash, yet someone still dumps trash in gravel pits, side streets s, railroad ditches, or any place that is closest. Nothing that we can do makes town or the approaches to town more untidy or unkept than the collection f garbage piled everywhere. . The city officials warn people to cease dumping garbage town or the offenders will be arrested.
